The Tishman Environment and Design Center at The New School, is collaborating with GAIA, a global alliance of more than 800 anti-incinerator and waste advocates, to host the first Environmental Justice, Zero Waste & Circular Economy Conference on May 8, 2017. The Conference will convene experts from around the world and a variety of fields to share and showcase innovative designs, advocacy campaigns and scholarly research across this often siloed field.

Flyer for Farming for Justice and Recognition in Europe, an event, that talks about efforts to conserve agricultural biodiversity and farmers' movements in Western Europe. Under the banner of peasant, local and/or organic agriculture, through the reintroduction of traditional varieties, the creation of new varieties using farm-based knowledge, and the redesign of innovation models, individual farmers are connected to collective movements demanding justice and a more efficient agricultural model. Event speakers were Dr. Brendan Coolsaet, Associate Professor and Master’s Programmes Director, European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL), Lille Catholic University, France as the scheduled speaker. The talk is in conjunction with Reynolds’ Social Justice in Sustainable Food Systems course..
